The project organized by Chair Jim Dunning, involved twenty teams of Rotarians and reached 2,000 third graders in 20 HEBISD schools.

HEB ISD is a very diverse School District. These Dictionary/Gazetteers will provide a learning tool for learning new words and enable students to more effectively communicate the English language. The Project takes approximately 4 weeks to distribute in 20 Elementary Schools. Project funds were used to purchase the Dictionary/Gazetteers and the 4 Way Test labels inserted inside. HEB Rotary Club and Mid-City Pacesetters Rotary Club teamed together along with our INTERACT Clubs to order the stock,label,schedule and deliver the Dictionary/Gazetteers with 20 Teams of Rotary volunteers. |
